Grieg in English!
The first two recordings below are from my 2020 compact disc Edvard Grieg: Songs From the Heart, with pianist Steve Swanson, on the Norway House label. Steve and I collaborated with Norwegian language scholar Bill Halvorson to create the first known full-length English-language recording of Grieg’s art songs.
Edvard Grieg “Cow Call (Ku-Lokk)” EGS 152
Edvard Grieg “A Bird Song (En Fuglesang)” Op. 25, No. 6
